On Monday, July 1, Narayana Health Insurance (NHIL), a recent initiative by Narayana Health, revealed the introduction of its inaugural health insurance offering, ‘ADITI.’
Narayana Health Insurance stated that this strategy is designed to close the healthcare access disparity by providing extensive coverage at a reasonable cost.
Devi Shetty, the Chairman of Narayana Health and Narayana Health Insurance, awarded the initial five ‘ADITI’ health insurance plans to the inaugural five families from Mysore.
Narayana Health Insurance intends to introduce ADITI in four districts near Mysore at first, providing them with the opportunity to collect feedback and adjust the plan in order to guarantee the best possible service and scalability.
Viren Prasad Shetty, Vice Chairman of Narayana Hrudayalaya, stated that ‘Aditi’ was created to transform health insurance into a proactive healthcare solution rather than a reactive treatment. The single plan offered by ‘Aditi’ focuses on life-saving care, removes undisclosed charges, and does away with extended waiting periods.
Coverage mainly focuses on the Narayana Health network, but Aditi provides restricted coverage outside the network for emergencies and specific situations.
The insurance company stated that the claim settlement process at Narayana Health network is structured to ensure a smooth experience. Limited coverage is provided for emergencies and specific situations outside the network. ADITI focuses on addressing essential medical needs by including treatment in general wards.Read More
